Jolene Schlemmer & Tracy Way, 2020-2021 Co-Presidents
Welcome to the 2020- 2021 school year.  As you all know pandemic procedures have changed a lot of plans throughout the year.  FCSTN is no different.  Tracy Way and Jolene Schlemmer will be co-presidents this year and Suzanne Martin will add to the Exec Board as the president elect.
Tracy’s Bio
I cannot believe how time has flown.  I have been teaching for 29 years.  I have taught at North Bend Central Jr/Sr. High, Delaware Hayes High, Lincoln High School and Lincoln Southwest.  In addition, I worked with pregnant moms who were substance abusers for three years in Miami Florida.
Jolene’s Bio
I have been teaching for over 20 years.  I began as a substitute and quickly moved over to middle school.  I have been teaching high school since 2003.  I did take a couple years off from LPS to travel Europe.  I lived in Germany and taught a food’s class and an English class for two years.  Since returning to the U.S. I have been at Lincoln Southeast High School.  I have been back for 4 years already.  It is surprising how fast the years fly by now!
We are unsure how we will incorporate any in-person events this year.  However, we are planning to collaborate with Kristin Vest at NDE on the Tuesday vIrtual meetings and hope to see all of you there.
We are planning on having the New Teacher Workshop in November like last year.  Look for details online soon.
We wish you all the best in your school year. We understand it may be a very difficult time, but with our collaboration with FCSTN we are in this together.

Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help you with your classrooms or your committees.

Again thank you for this opportunity,
Jolene Schlemmer and Tracy Way
